Everything you need to know before, during and after your stay with us

Campsite Guidelines.

We want everyone to have an amazing stay here with us at Combs Valley Campsite, to ensure that and with you in mind, we have created some basic campsite rules & guidelines. We respectfully ask that these are followed, if not, we may have to ask you to leave.

Arrival & Departure

Our pitches are available from 1pm on the day of arrival. Setting up your pitch in the dark can be complicated even for seasoned campers so we ask that you arrive and check-in before 8pm. We will be unable to check you in after this time so please leave plenty of time to get to us when planning your journey. Check out time is 12:30 (11:30 for pods). Late checkout might be available, please enquire with reception.

Checking In

Upon arrival, please book in at the Farmhouse Reception situated at the top of the drive. We will get you booked in swiftly and answer any questions you have regarding your stay.

Amenities

We have two amenity blocks, each are maintained to a high standard and cleaned at regular intervals however we ask you to leave the facilities tidy and as your would expect to find them. If you are staying in Field 1 or 2 there is are a short walk to the blocks. Please remember to bring a torch, even though the amenity blocks have lighting, two of the camping fields are not lit.

Pitches

We have both hardstanding and grass pitches available. Our standard pitches are unallocated so feel free to choose the most suitable space upon arrival. The hardstanding pitches with electric hook up are numbered so will be allocated upon booking.

The Campsite

We are a working farm as well as a campsite. Open since …. It is our ethos to maintain a well-run friendly site without too many rules and regulations, allowing you to enjoy the Peak District. Please bare it in mind we are a working farm and although we encourage you to take in the outdoors and our animals, please DO NOT FEED ANY of them. You will regularly see members of the family working on the farm, feel free to grab us if you need anything.

Group Bookings

We welcome group bookings, please book early to avoid disappointment. See also "Noise" section.

Noise

Please be respectful of your camping neighbours, let them enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding areas by keeping the noise levels down between 10pm - 8am. Our noise policy is strictly enforced.

Electric

We offer 16amp hook-ups on certain pitches. We recommend prebooking in advance. Household electrical items may cause the units to trip and is a built in safetyt feature. Camping specific items such as fridges, grills and kettles are fine.

Dogs

We welcome dogs at our campsite. Please be mindful to other parties staying and be aware we do have animals out grazing in nearby fields. It is your responsibility to clean up after your own dogs.

BBQ's & Firepits

We allow both BBQ’s and Firepits, however they must be raised off the ground and ashes must be completely cold before disposal.
