There are a wide variety of activities available in the local area. Combs Reservoir has a local sailing club and the Reservoir fishing is controlled by the Prince Albert Angling Society. There is also a golf course less than a mile up the road and there are numerous footpaths directly from the site for those who would like to explore the Peak District countryside on foot.
